For many Filipinos, the ABS-CBN Christmas ID signals the beginning of the holiday season, like a tradition people eagerly anticipate for its music, its message, and the inspiration that lights up that unmistakable Christmas warmth in our hearts.
And for the loyal Kapamilya fanatics, it also doubles as a big, sparkly visual feast where the brightest ABS-CBN stars gather like a constellation as dazzling as the night sky in December. After watching the 2025 Christmas ID launched on November 14, we know you’re just as excited to dive into the behind-the-scenes moments that's sure going to make you even giddier.
The first artist to appear in the Christmas ID is none other than her generation’s superstar, Kathryn Bernardo, who spent the opening sequence chatting with the “Ambassadors of Love, Joy, and Hope” or ordinary Filipinos whose inspiring stories and messages were turned into the very lyrics of this year’s anthem.
Not only was she front and center in the opening, Kathryn also contributed vocals to the jingle, nailing her rap section of the bridge with a whole lot of charm.
In separate sequences, she was joined by James Reid, her newest leading man in the upcoming series "Someone Someday." James appears serenading her with a guitar, and our hearts jumped a little seeing their chemistry spark this early. Yes, we have a behind-the-scenes photo that immortalized their very first Christmas ID moment together as a tandem. Oh, you're welcome!
The ABS-CBN compound was jampacked in what felt like a grand reunion of artists who grew up with the Kapamilya community. Judy Ann Santos, ever the loyal Kapamilya queen, showed up for the tradition as she always does. She was also seen sharing a sweet, sisterly interaction with Angelica Panganiban on- and off-cam. Two queens in one frame!
We can tell Megastar Sharon Cuneta was thrilled to be shooting with some of her loves in showbiz. One of them was Julia Montes, who has played her on-screen daughter in two teleseryes, so their bond is as real as it gets, as seen in the behind-the-scenes snaps.
Just when we thought Julia and her beau, Primetime King Coco Martin, would be appearing separately in the music video, the universe said “surprise" as the couple showed up together at the end looking extra sweet. And yes, there’s a CocoJul photo in the gallery that will make any fan grin.
And when we say the shoot doubled as a fun hangout among the artists, we mean, just look at the BFF moment between Coco and the Unkabogable Superstar Vice Ganda. Pure good vibes! Coco is also seen chatting with Jericho Rosales.
Maricel Soriano, our one and only Diamond Star, truly lived up to her title as she sparkled through the CSID shoot like a radiant gem in the Christmas galaxy. So effortlessly iconic!
Jolina Magdangal was equally magical, exuding that unmistakable 'Jolens' sweetness and charisma. Meanwhile, another big reason to check out the gallery is Bela Padilla and Janine Gutierrez’s holiday chic vibe.
Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola brought equal parts 'kilig' and laughter, as in the music video, Luis finally fulfilled his long-running dream of singing for the ABS-CBN Christmas ID, only for Jessy to unplug his “performance time." Sweet, funny, and so Luis and Jessy!
We've also got BTS 'ayuda' for the KimPau and DonBelle lovers out there! Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino delivered that KimPau magic that just works all the time, especially with the Christmas backdrop, while Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano served some early holiday kilig too.
And of course, Joshua Garcia and Ivana Alawi’s pairing made a lovely Christmas debut. As shown in the video, their Christmas ID scene was shot in Morocco where they’ve worked on their upcoming teleserye "Love Is Never Gone."
All these artists, plus many more, gathered for the closing shot to form a human ABS-CBN logo featuring the classic red, green, and blue rings. If past years had viewers guessing who would get the solo final frame, this year, ABS-CBN turned it into a full star-studded ending!
