The long wait is finally over for those who have been avidly anticipating the annual ABS-CBN Christmas ID, as the anthem and music video for this year’s Yuletide Kapamilya celebration were released on Friday, November 14, which carries the theme, “Love, Joy, Hope: Sabay Tayo Ngayong Pasko.”

Of course, it’s festive, heartwarming, and star-studded, with ABS-CBN stars from various television shows and departments, as well as ordinary Kapamilyas from different parts of the country and of the world, taking part in the much-awaited Christmas ID, which inspires Filipinos to be each other’s love, joy, and hope as we rise up together from the challenges and adversities that afflicted us, especially this 2025.

And among the Kapamilya stars whose presence was highly anticipated in the Christmas ID 2025—which ran for 24 minutes and six seconds—was the cast of the undisputed, long-running Kapamilya primetime series “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” spearheaded by none other than our very own Primetime King, Coco Martin.

Since they’ve been known for always going above and beyond in filming every scene, especially the fight and action scenes, the “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” family made sure that they would also go extra for their appearance in the Christmas ID, which started at the 14:39 mark.

Instead of simply showing themselves clad in shades of red and green, they actually put up a large-scale diorama reminiscent of the Dimaguiba family’s neighborhood in San Dimas, in which a few of its artists were seen in low spirits, as though the heavens and earth had swallowed them whole. But their faces and moods instantly lit up with the arrival of their lead star-cum-director Coco at the scene, who played a hero again as he saved them from loneliness with just one blow of his whistle.

A combo then made its entrance, prompting the “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” cast to join the fun and festivity by dancing through the rhythm with smiles on their faces and improvised musical instruments in their hands. Taking part in that simple yet enjoyable revelry were Tropang Tanggol, comprised of Jojit Lorenzo, Big Mak Andaya, Mammoth, and Ryan Martin; the Guerrero Family, composed of Dante Rivero, Angel Aquino, Albert Martinez, and Gillian Vicencio; Maris Racal, Aleck Bovick, Criza Taa, Ronwaldo Martin, Allan Paule, Juan Rodrigo, Christopher de Leon, Cherry Pie Picache, Via Antonio, and other supporting cast members.

The line “Sabay-sabay, sabay-sabay tayo!” was repeatedly heard in the background throughout that particular segment, with Coco and Maris capping it off with a short yet sweet twirl.

Just when some of us probably thought that was all, more “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” cast members appeared in the succeeding frames along with Coco, which included the Mondragon family comprised of Roi Vinzon, Baron Geisler, and Rosanna Roces; the Red Phoenix group, led by Ronnie Lazaro; Jake Cuenca, Aljur Abrenica, Joel Lamangan, John Medina, Jay Gonzaga, and Tommy Abuel, among others. Charo Santos then had a separate stint, in which she was joined by five Kapamilya employees.

Being one of the biggest stars of ABS-CBN, Coco, of course, had his solo moment, shared the rap part of the “Love, Joy, Hope: Sabay Tayo Ngayong Pasko” with his real-life best friend and “It’s Showtime” host Vice Ganda, Asia’s Superstar” Kathryn Bernardo, Nation’s Girl Group BINI, and The Aces of P-Pop BGYO.

Coco made another appearance at the 20:14 mark, wherein he and veteran broadcast journalist Karen Davila presented an image of “Pilipinas Got Talent Season 7” grand winner Ricardo “Cardong Trumpo” Cadavero—who was among those credited for the lyrics of this year’s anthem—through a parol.

At the 21:05 mark, Charo could be seen being escorted by “Incognito” lead actors Daniel Padilla and Richard Gutierrez to the grand parade of Kapamilya stars. Ronwaldo, Ryan, Bassilyo, Smugglaz, Big Mak, Mammoth, Jojit, and Susan Africa were spotted clad in red “Love, Joy, Hope” shirts as they joined the other artists, while Baron had a “bro” moment with Kapamilya host Robi Domingo.

Wearing green “Love, Joy, Hope” shirts, Angel, Cherry Pie, Christopher, Albert, and John Estrada gave high-fives, as well as Coco and his real-life sweetheart Julia Montes, who both looked happy and radiant while walking down the lane together. The couple then joined Kim Chiu, Paulo Avelino, Sharon Cuneta, Vice, and ABS-CBN's top 3 executives: President and CEO Carlo L. Katigbak, Chairman Mark L. Lopez, and Chief Operations Officer Cory V. Vidanes.

Jake, meanwhile, was caught doing the iconic “Iboto si Miguelito” dance move, which made Maris laugh at the 22:01 mark, while Angel, Cherry Pie, John, and Albert set aside the squabbles of their “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” characters as they were spotted all smiles together. Shippers of the “MaMon” team-up of Cherry Pie and Christopher were surely thrilled upon seeing them standing side-by-side at the 22:07 mark. Coco and Julia, on the other hand, were having a good laugh with Sharon.

The 2025 Christmas ID concluded with the Kapamilya stars and this year’s storytellers standing together as they formed the logo of ABS-CBN, with some cast members of “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” taking part in it.
