Knowing that the people will definitely demand everything that they had promised during the press conference, Roberto (Albert Martinez) decided to begin with the ambulances they are going to donate to every barangay. Thus, he didn’t waste time reaching out to her, who was, at the same time, thrilled to begin their business partnership. As soon as she arrived at their office along with her right-hand man Emil (Jay Gonzaga), Miguelito (Jake Cuenca) immediately told her that they were in need of vans that they would distribute to every barangay in Manila.
As Divina imparted that she has German-made vans, Roberto told her that they actually didn’t need high-end units since they’re more after the price. Having been in this business for quite some time, Divina promised that they could really depend on her since she already knew the ins and outs of this kind of partnership, since she had already delivered several ambulance units to various provinces in the northern part of the country, and his partners were able to gain huge kickbacks from it.
She went on to explain how it was done and guaranteed the Guerreros that they wouldn’t have to worry much about it for she was going to have everything covered. Besides, she was able to further convince them to seal the deal with her by suggesting that they could actually inflate the price of every unit to P4 million when each only cost around P300,000 to P400,000.
The Guerreros immediately agreed, with Jackie (Angel Aquino) asking Sandy (Sandy Aloba) to advise the city hall’s budget officer to prepare the money they’re going to need as a downpayment for the first 20 vans they would order. At the same time, Divina asked Emil to contact their supplier of secondhand vans.
