True to their promise to Tanggol (Coco Martin) that they would back him up in every fight that he would go through, Tropang Tanggol risked their lives by helping him and his father, Ramon (Christopher de Leon), in taking Don Julio (Tommy Abuel) away from the police.
They began by carnapping an LPG truck and a pickup truck that they would utilize in carrying out their plan, which was to interrupt the transfer of Don Julio and Franco (John Medina) to the city jail. They were able to do it by pretending that the LPG truck they were using got into a terrible accident, which caused the scattering of the LPG tanks and the obstruction of the road where the police convoy carrying Don Julio and Franco were supposed to pass through.
A couple of police officers were able to recognize that the group of men in front of them were actually the friends of Tanggol who were part of their most wanted list. They immediately relayed it to their troop leader, Hector (Aljur Abrenica), who advised them not to engage since they were ensnared, so it would be better for them to just retreat. But it was already too late for them as Tanggol suddenly came out and started to riddle them with bullets, causing the open LPG tanks to explode.
