After being rejected by the Guerreros the first time that Erika (Gillian Vicencio) attempted to have him join their family for breakfast, Santino (Ronwaldo Martin) was able to finally share the table with them after Don Gustavo (Dante Rivero) brought him to the dining hall—much to the dismay of Miguelito (Jake Cuenca) and Jackie (Angel Aquino).
As Santino was about to leave his seat after Jackie and Miguelito tried to shoo him away and told him to have her breakfast instead at the maids’ and guards’ quarters, Don Gustavo asked him to stay and not mind them.
Their breakfast got interrupted when Jackie received a call from her executive assistant, Sandy (Sandy Aloba), who informed her that a group of fire victims were conducting a protest outside the city hall, as some of their loved ones and neighbors were stricken with food poisoning after consuming the relief goods that their family had sent to them, which turned out to be already expired.
Before they left, Miguelito told Santino to consider himself lucky that day since they already had to leave, and he would be able to enjoy his breakfast without being tormented by him. However, Miguelito still found a way to treat Santino rudely by throwing his table napkin at him as he stood and departed from the table.
Prior to the arrival of Don Gustavo and Santino, the Guerreros were talking about the Montenegros, particularly the transfer of Don Julio (Tommy Abuel) and Franco (John Medina) to the city jail, which was actually ordered by Roberto (Albert Martinez). As Miguelito suggested for them to just have him killed instead of waiting for him to die a natural death due to old age, Roberto hinted that he had already come up with a plan to make sure that the old man wouldn’t last at the city jail for a long time.
