As if coercing her stubborn stepsister, Dimples (Criza Taa), to finally confess the truth about what happened to her wasn’t frustrating enough, Ponggay (Maris Racal) found herself further annoyed when her superior-cum-admirer Hector (Aljur Abrenica) unexpectedly swung by at her and Chona’s (Via Antonio) workstation to ask her about her absence the day before.
Of course, Ponggay didn’t disclose the real reason behind her failure to report for duty but instead told him that she was sick. Hector went on to quiz her about her ailment, as well as tell her to update him about how she’s doing and to send him “cheesy” messages, just like what couples usually do.
In order to drive him away, Ponggay coughed repeatedly to show him that she was indeed sick—and it worked. But prior to leaving the room, Hector uttered how much he missed her, to which the irritated Ponggay replied with another blow of coughs. Chona went on to tease her about already having someone better, to which she retorted, “Wala!”
Prior to Hector’s entrance, the two policewomen were discussing the possibility of Ponggay seeking the help of Tanggol (Coco Martin) out of her desperation to find out the real identity of “Mystery Man”.
