What started out as a hearty breakfast at their household subsequently turned heavy and quite chaotic as Ponggay (Maris Racal) and Dimples (Criza Taa) engaged in a scorching spat after the former tried to coerce the latter to tell her whatever she could remember on the night she was found unconscious inside a body bag.
Dimples once again dodged the question, with Dimples' mom, Linda (Aleck Bovick), restraining Ponggay from badgering her daughter and telling her to wait until her stepsister is already in better condition to speak about it. However, Dimples declared that there’s nothing she would impart nor for them to be worried about her since she’s already fine.
As Ponggay further pushed her to confess, Dimples lied through her teeth by telling everyone that somebody hit her on the head while she was on a night out, which made her unconscious. Even though she knew that everything she uttered was false, Ponggay chose to shut up for their family to be able to enjoy their breakfast.
A ferocious argument then ensued between the two fierce young women as Dimples confronted Ponggay about her touching her phone, which the latter admitted since she’s really determined to find out the culprit behind what happened to her. As Ponggay tried to convince her anew to cooperate with her since she’s more than willing to help her, Dimples instantly went cantankerous.
Even though Dimples insisted that she had nothing to say anymore since what happened to her was just nothing and what’s more important was that she made it out alive, Ponggay refused to give up and told her that she already knew that it was “Midnight Monster” (Baron Geisler)—her last customer—who did it to her. As Dimples pretended to be oblivious about what she was pertaining to, Ponggay informed her that she was actually fortunate enough to survive since the other victims of that sexual predator had already died upon being found.
Ponggay also told her about the huge sacrifice she had to make in order to find a resolution for her case, which Dimples simply brushed off, implying that it was her decision to do it for the sake of her job. Instead of being grateful for her concern, Dimples went on to tell her that she doesn’t need her help and that she shouldn’t be overprotective of her because, after all, they’re not blood-related.
As Dimples walked out of their bedroom, Ponggay followed her and continued to coerce her to finally tell them the truth—but to no avail. Ponggay threatened to reveal to their family that it was her real job that led her to the danger that almost killed her, but Dimples beckoned her not to. Notwithstanding, Ponggay grabbed her phone in her pursuit of showing their family proof but was shocked to discover that her chat with “Midnight Monster” was already gone.
To turn things around, Dimples used her dramatic chops to make it appear that Ponggay was just fabricating stories about her. This, of course, infuriated Linda anew, with her father, Mauro (Richard Quan), advising her not to make false accusations against her stepsister. Nonetheless, Ponggay remains steadfast in finding out the truth and in making “Midnight Monster” pay for his crimes.
