As if forcing her to live with him wasn’t already a punishment for Marites (Cherry Pie Picache), who strongly expressed her aversion against him, Rigor (John Estrada) even wanted them to sleep beside each other, reminding her that they’re still married no matter what happens.
Marites highly opposed it and asked him to stop this nonsense, which annoyed him and triggered him to assault and reproach her. Without her mentioning Ramon (Christopher de Leon), he dragged his name anew into their squabble by accusing Marites of choosing him only because of his wealth, which the authorities were already able to seize.
But Marites denied it, saying that she actually didn’t know the exact answer to why she had chosen and would choose Ramon. However, she’s certain that she would rather be with him than be with Rigor, which apparently broke his heart.
