As one of the featured performers specially chosen to interpret the OPM icon Jose Mari Chan’s timeless love songs, Kolette Madelo said she considered it an honor to be part of Afterglow: Seasons of the Heart concert this coming July 11.
Aside from the Afterglow concert, the Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 3rd Big Placer also revealed to PUSH ABS-CBN in an exclusive interview that she will also be making her theater debut later this year.
“Medyo busy naman po. May paparating na mga shows gaya nitong Afterglow: Seasons of the Heart. And then sa acting din and sa theater meron. And sana hopefully may mga projects pang dumating. This is happening sa December so may mga trainings kaming gagawin, may mga rehearsals,” she shared.
Comparing her theater auditions to her PBB auditions, Kolette admitted she had an easier experience when she was an aspiring housemate.

The 22-year-old Star Magic artist also said that as much as she has always loved singing, she also wants to focus on her acting career this year. She was last seen as part of the cast of the ABS-CBN mystery thriller series What Lies Beneath.
“At this point in my life, ang mas priority ko, feel ko, ang parati kong ginagawa, like acting, ganun. And siguro i-si-second ko yung pagkanta. Puwede ko naman sila isabay lahat pero mas more on acting muna ako for now,” she added.

Kolette also said she would love to have a career like one of her biggest idols in showbiz who she was able to meet briefly inside ABS-CBN. “Feel ko, siguro for now acting and singing, pinaka idol ko si Jodi Sta.Maria dahil sobrang galing niya. And then yun, sobrang bait niya,” she told PUSH ABS-CBN.
