As Pilipinas Got Talent Season 7 came to a close, hosts Robi Domingo and Melai Cantiveros took to social media to express their heartfelt gratitude for being part of the hit Kapamilya talent competition.
Robi shared behind-the-scenes moments from the finale on Instagram, where he appeared emotional as he bid farewell to the season.
“Still on a PGT high. 🙌🏻⭐️ Being part of the seventh season of Pilipinas Got Talent has been nothing short of a dream come true… a dream I once whispered to the universe, now a beautiful reality. 🙏🏽,” Robi wrote.
He extended his appreciation to this season’s panel of judges: former ABS-CBN President Freddie M. Garcia (FMG), Asia’s Superstar Kathryn Bernardo, comedy star for all seasons Eugene Domingo, and New Gen matinee idol Donny Pangilinan.
“I’m beyond grateful to our amazing judges: Boss FMG, Miss Uge, Donski, and Bro Kath for their brilliance and heart. You guys created an environment where everyone can enjoy and showcase excellence at the same time. I learned so much from all of you about love, life, and everything in between,” Robi added.
Robi also thanked the entire production team, saying: “To the entire staff, creatives, production team, and crew: thank you for the trust, laughter, and commitment. Because of you all, this became much more than a program for me; it became home.”
He also gave a special shout-out to the contestants, especially grand winner Tatay Cardo: “To every act that graced the stage, especially Tatay Cardo, you are the heart and soul of this show. Thank you for inspiring a nation.”
Robi also expressed gratitude to Melai Cantiveros who co-hosted the show with him. “And to my partner-in-hosting and anchor through it all, Ate Me, thank you for grounding me with your light and energy. Maraming salamat sa tiwala. Couldn’t have done this without you.”
Ending his message, he said, “Maraming salamat, Pilipinas Got Talent. This one’s for the dreamers. Till the next. ❤️”
In a video message, Robi reflected: “They say it’s a celebration of Filipino talent.It’s not just a show but it’s a home for me. To the next Pilipinas Got Talent.”
Meanwhile, Melai Cantiveros also shared her gratitude in a heartfelt social media post dedicated to the team behind the show.
On her post, Melai wrote: “Tribute to the Bosses, Staff and Crew of Pilipinas Got Talent season 7 💙sa lahat ng bumubuo ng PGT'7 , maraming maraming salamat sa inyu❤️ iba ang dedikasyon nyu sa paghahanap ng Stars ⭐️.”
She praised the hardworking production team, saying, “To masisispag na production Team ng Pgt di kona maisa isa ang mga names pero ang galing kasi nag eextend sila ng work kahit di na sakop ng trabaho nila naghehelp sila❤️💋.”
Melai also penned fun and sweet notes to the judges.
“To The Boss FMG -thank you boss sa pagwelcome sa amin ng walang hesitation and pagpafeel sa amin na as if its not our first time sa PGT😘 thank you boss sa kaliwaan na sweldo hehehe char lang😁✌️thank you po boss pinakilig mu mama ko na lagot sa papa ko 😁😆,” she quipped.
To Eugene Domingo, she wrote, “Thank you sa mga comment mung tagos sa puso Ms Eugene and thank you sa pagpapaalala sa amin na kamukha naming nga Pilipino ang ating Grandwinner Cardong Trumpo, dahil cya ang mukha ng mga Pilipino🫡.”
Melai didn’t hold back her admiration for Donny Pangilinan either, saying, “Thank you Donny to the Comment of yours with a Mind 💯 ang comment mu sa ating mga Acts , yun din ang comment ko na di ko kayang put into right words cause its always left words heheheh , but you? You always Nailed it . And thank you for inspiring us , cause lagi kaming kinikilig in silence sa kagwapuhan mu ❤️thank you pinakilig mu ang Baby Stey ko donny💋.”
She ended with a lighthearted message for Kathryn Bernardo: “Thank for balancing it kath the nerbyos of every contestant , you make it cool and everytime na magccmment ka with a Heart ❤️ you never failed to amaze me with your honesty and realnessity 😘 can we change face QueenKath? Hehehe😘”
