Pilipinas Got Talent Season 7 judge Donny Pangilinan has undeniably impressed audiences with his sharp insights, genuine warmth, and unmistakable charm throughout the season.
In an exclusive interview with PUSH ABS-CBN, Donny shared his biggest takeaway from his experience as one of the power judges.

“Oh my gosh, what can I say? This is one of the best jobs in the world, you know? You go into a place na sobrang daming talent. Sobrang daming nangyari this season that really made me think about how talented we are as Filipinos,” he said.
The New Gen Matinee Idol also added how he was still at a loss for words over the incredible success of this season.
“I'm just so blessed that I got to do this with an amazing cast, amazing crew. I'm still out of words but I'm just really glad with everything that turned out. Saka lahat na nandito ngayon, sobrang deserving talaga sa big stage na ito,” he shared.
During the final showdown, Donny showed genuine emotion, and he later opened up about what made the moment so special for him.
“Well, because this is the grand finals and it took a lot to get to this point. So, just being in this moment, in this environment, knowing that they gave 101% and ang daming blood, sweat, and tears ng mga contestants para lang makapunta dito, ma-feel mo talaga yun. And the whole environment here shifts whenever a performer goes here on stage kasi sobrang galing ng pinapakita nila,” Donny expressed.
Donny also admitted feeling humbled by all the praise he has received during his judging stint.
“Nakaka-humble lang. I'm just very blessed and privileged again to be doing this. The pleasure is really mine. I just want to thank ABS-CBN, and of course PGT for all the trust they've given me. And yeah, it was a really good season,” Donny mentioned.
He went on to say that PGT Season 7’s Grand Champion, Cardong Trumpo, was truly deserving of the title.
“Wala na akong masabi, sobrang deserving siya. And I just pray and hope that after this, his future will be very bright, very colorful. That he will use the funds in the right way as well. And that he's able to shift, di ba? Kasi he wanted to change his house, his life. I think that's all gonna happen after this,” he mentioned.
Donny added that the season uncovered a remarkable new star who embodies the very best of Filipino talent.
“I'm just glad we found a new star, we found a new gem. And it's really nice that he gets to promote yung mga Pinoy talents din na kagaya ng trumpo, na hindi na natin masyadong nakikita. And it's a game that we used to play as kids. So I'm just really glad that everything turned out the way it did,” he commented.
The leading man of his generation also revealed that he’s open to returning as a judge on Pilipinas Got Talent if the opportunity arises.
“Ako basta okay yung crew, okay yung cast, saka the team believes in me, then how can I say no?” he expressed.
In the meantime, Donny also teased that he already has some projects that fans can look forward to after his PGT stint.
“There's a couple of things naman that are lined up. So abangan na lang nila ‘yon. Thank you,” he said.
