Geneva Cruz is marking a milestone before she turns 50.
The actress announced that she recently graduated from college.
"As I approach my golden age in less than a month, I realize that some of my dreams are still coming true. Thirty-three years in the making, but I finally did it! Look, ma, I’m now a college graduate!!!👩🎓🤍" she posted on her Facebook page, sharing a snapshot of herself in her graduation toga from the Philippine Christian University (PCU).
Geneva dedicated this feat to her younger self, saying: "This is for nineteen-year-old Gen, who had to grow up fast and work hard after choosing to become a young mom. Thank you for being brave and for finally learning to love yourself."
Fans online were quick to react to Geneva's post.
"Congrats my No.1 idol for more than three decades. So happy for your achievements in life," one fan commented.
"Congratulations Geneva Cruz! There are no time boundaries when it comes to learning," another fan wrote.

It was in August 2024 when Geneva shared that she had returned to university.
"It took me a long time to finally return to school and strive to complete college. I remember my college days @ust1611official, where I took up #ABGeneral/Lit (Hi to all my batchmates and schoolmates if some of you follow me here!)," she wrote at that time.
She stressed that she had no regrets about welcoming her first child at a young age. "But life had a different plan for me, and that’s to become a mother first. I have no regrets because I have a beautiful son," she said.
Geneva added that welcoming her daughter later in life reminded her to set an example about the value of education. "However, having a ten-year-old daughter was the motivation I needed to prioritize finishing a degree. I strongly believe in setting a positive example for my children, which drives me to dedicate time to pursuing my educational goals," she remarked.
