Sharon Cuneta expressed how happy and surprised she was to receive money as a gift from her daughter, Frankie Pangilinan. The celebrity mom shared with her followers on social media that it was the first time that a child of hers gave her an envelope filled with cash.
The actress didn’t disclose the amount she received but shared the heartwarming handwritten message that came with it.
Sharon maintained that Frankie didn’t have to give any money to her at all but appreciated the thought that went with it.
“For the first time ever in my life, my own child gave me an envelope filled with…cash. Of course she didn’t have to. I, in fact, said that I wanted to frame the money,” she wrote.
The Megastar admitted that she cried seeing the letter her daughter shared as it showed the love their daughter had for her and her husband, Senator Francis Pangilinan. She showed the letter that Frankie wrote which captured the hearts of her fans.
In her letter, which the celebrity daughter addressed to her "beloved Mama", assured Sharon that she will be taken care of in the future and how it’s an honor for her to be her daughter.
“I know you will attempt to refuse this out of the goodness of your heart, but I want you to keep this and remember that there is no universe where I will not take care of you, and that is a lifelong promise. Thank you for this beautiful life; It’s my honor to be your daughter,” Frankie wrote in the handwritten letter.
“It is so heartwarming to know that she thinks of taking care of me and her Daddy when we are old and no longer able to work. Thank you, my darling Kakie,” Sharon responded.
For the MegaStar, her daughter’s action was much more than the money she gave her but she is grateful for having raised a “filial, loving, and devoted” daughter.
“God bless you every minute, my Baba…I love you with all of my grateful heart. Praise Jesus,” she ended.
