Sharon Cuneta’s daughter, Frankie Pangilinan, was just appointed as the Chairperson of the Committee on Youth of the Senate Spouses Foundation, Inc. earlier this week. In an Instagram post, the Megastar expressed how proud she is of her daughter who bravely took on the role.
Frankie will join the other members of the Senate Spouses Foundation, Inc. such as Heart Evangelista, who was re-elected as the Foundation’s president; Mariel Padilla; and Ciara Sotto, among others. She is the daughter of Sharon with Senator Francis Pangilinan who is currently serving at the 20th Congress of the Philippines.

“So proud of my baby girl!!!” Sharon expressed.
Friends and fans of Frankie sent their congratulatory messages in the comment section of the Megastar’s post. Other netizens shared how happy they are that the celebrity daughter gets to work under the foundation.

“Yes! We need more intellectual people like Frankie, especially for the benefit of the Youth,” a fan wrote.

Previously, Frankie revealed in an interview that entering politics was never in her plans even though she has been vocal about issues involving the country.
“I understood suddenly ganun pala ang mga tao actually. Tuwing nagiging politically involved, ibig sabihin may ambition... may interest at least, and I never was that kind of person,” she previously shared.
She maintained that she has been using her voice to amplify the problems that need to be addressed in the country.
“It is really just tao pong Pilipino na nais pong magbago ang mga problema sa Pilipinas and I think that's just really just it, bilang mamamayang Pilipino and hindi po bilang anak ng sino man," she added.
