MANILA -- Actress Cai Cortez has given birth to a baby boy.
On Thursday, Cortez announced her baby's arrival as she posted photos of them with husband Wissem Rkhami on Instagram.
"So this is what they call love at first sight," Cortez wrote.
Cortez, who was part of television series "Tubig at Langis," announced the gender of the baby last August as part of her thank you message as they marked their first month as a married couple.
She called it "the happiest month of my life" and "the greatest decision I have ever made."
The two exchanged vows in a civil wedding ceremony at the Manila City Hall last July.
