Ruru Madrid opened up about his past infidelity with his longtime girlfriend, Bianca Umali. During an interview with King of Talk Boy Abunda on Fast Talk, he recalled how grateful he is for the actress who gave their love a second chance.
“Siguro, yun yung pinagpapasalamat ko kay Bianca na kahit na nagkamali ako during that time–– I was 20 years old,” he said.

Ruru maintained that he wasn’t using his age as an excuse for his cheating and maintained that he saw how important Bianca truly was in his life. The two broke up for eight months, then got back together. They have been together for eight years now.
“Siguro nga tinuturing ko nga siyang blessing in disguise somehow dahil from there, nakita ko talaga yung kahalagahan ni Bianca,” he shared.
“Tinanggap niya ako ulit. Kahit naman sinong tao, pwede magbago–– ano mang klase ng pagkakamali yan, pwede pa rin mag bago ang tao. Ang Diyos nga natin, marunong magpatawad,” he added.
The Kapuso star asserted that cheating is a choice that a person makes against their partner.

While everything’s already in the past, Ruru expressed that he won’t throw away the second chance given to him by Bianca. He shared how secure they are in the relationship and saw the value of the actress.
“Siguro marami lang akong pinanghahawakan sa panahon ngayon at sa buhay ko ngayon na bakit ko pa gagawin 'to? Una sa lahat napakaganda ni Bianca at hindi na ako makakahanap ng katulad niya, hindi na ako makakahanap ng isang babaeng nagmahal sa akin ng katulad ng pagmamahal na binibigay niya,” he maintained.
For Ruru, his past experience will forever remain in his mind.
“Habambuhay kong panghahawakan yun at every time na makakaramdam ako ng mga temptasyon, mananalangin ako. Maalala ko na ang batas ay dapat sundin,” he ended.
