Social media personality-turned-actress Sassa Gurl has apologized to Kapamilya actress AC Bonifacio for putting her in a “vulnerable situation” over her distasteful comment earlier this week. On her X account, she took full accountability for the comment she made and thanked everyone who called her out on it.
Sassa seemingly took a jab at an unnamed Kapamilya artist during the media conference of Saving Cherry, where they both starred alongside Kapuso stars Barbie Forteza, Mikee Quintos, Khalil Ramos, and Mika Salamanca.

AC, who’s been with ABS-CBN for several years now, shared how she is usually surrounded by Kapamilyas to which Sassa then gave a playful reply.
“Naloka ka sa mga Kapuso, no? Walang plastikan,” Sassa said.
She immediately clarified that she was just joking, and AC just brushed it off and assured her loyalty towards her network.
“I love my network. To my Star Magic family, I love you,” AC maintained.
Sassa's comment didn’t sit well with netizens, as they felt there could’ve been a proper place for her to air her opinions and not put AC on the spot. Thousands of netizens mentioned her on X to take accountability, to which she did.
“Saw all your tweets and messages, kinda deserve ko naman talaga ang mabunot, as a queer person who represents the baklang kanal girlies, i realized na dapat nga naman talaga ilugar ang kakanalan,” Sassa expressed.
While she maintains that she was just being real, she acknowledged it’s not an excuse for her to be tactless when spewing out words especially if other artists are involved.
“I stand by being real, but hindi excuse ito [to] be taklesa. Sa nasabi ko i take accountability for that, thank you sa mga nagcall out, another opportunity for me to grow as a new artist in showbiz, at siyempre to my sister ms. AC, sorry ma for putting you into a very vulnerable situation,” Sassa maintained.
AC has also responded to the apology of Sassa.
“All love guys,” AC assured fans.
