Actress Cai Cortez shared with her followers on social media that she earned her bachelor’s degree after graduating from the University of Makati earlier this week. On her Instagram account, she expressed how happy she is to finally earn her diploma after two decades.
Cai graduated from the University of Makati with a degree in Political Science, majoring in Local Government Administration (Executive Program).

The comedian-actress shared a glimpse of her graduation ceremony, which took place at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City. She also showed off some of the graduation photos taken before the ceremony.
“20 years in the making,” she wrote.
Cai made sure to dedicate her well-deserved college diploma to her parents, whom she hopes are proud of her latest milestone as a solo mom to two children and a working student.
“Mom and Dad, sana proud kayo kahit it took this long to give you a diploma,” she maintained.
She credited fellow actress Tart Carlos for making it possible for her.
“Will forever be grateful to @umakph for giving opportunities to people like me na gustong makatapos kahit nagwwork and solo mother of 2 😣🥹 Thank you sir Thad and my bestie @tartcarlos for signing me up,” she shared.

Friends like Nikki Valdez, Maxene Magalona, Eugene Domingo, and Gian Magdangal congratulated her in the comment section of her post. Other netizens expressed how inspirational Cai is as they continue with their respective education as well.

Cai is the recent celebrity to share her educational milestone. Former Pinoy Big Brother housemates Kaori Oinuma and Aljon Mendoza also just graduated from the Philippine Women’s University.
