For the first time, Nxled will play in the playoffs of a Premier Volleyball League (PVL) tournament.
This, after the Chameleons swept Farm Fresh, 25-13, 25-16, 25-14, in their PVL on Tour match at the USJ-R Coliseum in Cebu City on Sunday to punch their ticket to the quarterfinals.
EJ Laure-Carino led the way for Nxled with 19 points, while Chiara Permentilla added 10 markers.
The Chameleons ended their campaign in the preliminary round with a 4-1 win-loss record in Pool A. They join PLDT (5-0) in the quarterfinals.
Meanwhile, Farm Fresh dropped to 3-2 in the group and will head to the knockout round.
Trisha Tubu was the Foxies' lone double-digit scorer, with 12 points. As a team, they had only 18 kills to Nxled's 36, and gave away 24 points from their errors.
