MANILA – PLDT players were rescued after getting stranded in a gym along Araneta Avenue in Quezon City.
The PVL team thanked the Philippine Coast Guard and Philippine Army for the assist on Monday night as the squad shared its experience on Facebook.
"Maraming salamat po to our Philippine Coast Guard and Philippine Army and our volley friends who assisted in rescuing our High Speed Hitters out of the Araneta Avenue area," the post read.

The enhanced southwest monsoon has been dumping rains in Luzon, causing massive flooding throughout Metro Manila.
State of calamity was declared in Quezon City due to the persistent inclement weather.
Meanwhile, the Pool B-leading High Speed Hitters, who have a 3-0 record in the ongoing PVL on Tour, will fly to Cebu City this weekend to play their matches against Nxled and Galeries.
