The PLDT High Speed Hitters completed an unbeaten campaign in the preliminary round of the 2025 PVL on Tour after sweeping Galeries Tower on Sunday at the USJ-R Coliseum in Cebu City.
The High Speed Hitters needed just an hour and a half to overcome the Highrisers, 25-20, 25-14, 25-17.
They finished with a 5-0 record in Pool A and are already qualified to the final round of the preseason tournament.

Kianna Dy led the way with 12 points, all on kills, while Mika Reyes and Jovie Prado each had 10 points for PLDT.
The High Speed Hitters had a 46-33 advantage in kills, and also benefited from 23 unforced errors by the Highrisers. They played a relatively clean game, with just 12 errors in three sets.
Veteran playmaker Kim Fajardo was credited with 17 excellent sets in the comprehensive victory.
Meanwhile, the Highrisers dropped to 0-5. Jean Asis and France Ronquillo each scored 11 points in the loss.
