MANILA — Farm Fresh is now assured of a quarterfinals spot in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL).

This, as the Foxies notched their fifth win in six games at the expense of Petro Gazz, 25-21, 25-22, 21-25, 28-26, in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference on Tuesday at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan.

"Credit to Petro Gazz for a really good performance in the second half of the game, but overall, we deserved to win, and huge, huge congrats to my team, expressed coach Alessandro Lodi during the postgame press conference.

Lodi was referring to the Angels' Set 3 win, after his team established a 2-0 set lead. The Brooke Van Sickle-led squad even threatened the Foxies late in Set 4, but it was the latter who still emerged on top.

Petro Gazz import Lindsey Vander Weide led a furious comeback after falling down 23-20, tying the game at 23-all. Trisha Tubu put the Foxies on match point with her kill, but MJ Phillips and Aiza Maizo were there for the comeback and power Petro Gazz on set point, 25-24.

Vander Weide then knotted the game at 26-all after a crosscourt kill, but it was her counterpart Eli Rousseaux who ultimately spelled the difference, firing a sharp backrow hit and the game-winning crosscourt attack to close out the match that lasted two hours and 12 minutes.

Rousseaux finished with 31 points on 27 attacks, three blocks and one service ace, Tubu collected 14 points in total, while Ces Molina showed her two-way game with a triple-double of 10 points, 19 excellent digs, and 11 excellent receptions.

Orchestrating their offense was Alohi Robins-Hardy, who poured in 21 excellent sets and had nine points—a scoring output relatively high for a setter.

On the other hand, the Angels, while showing their original form in Set 3, remained inconsistent in the import-laced competition and fell to 3-3, mirroring the records of Akari and Cignal at the bottom of the Top 8.

Vander Weide and Van Sickle registered 16 points each to pace their side of the taraflex.
