MANILA — AC Miner and the Zus Coffee are not yet stopping, eager to build on their 2-0 start in the 2025 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference.
Miner, the rookie out of Ateneo de Manila University, expressed that they are still working on team connection, adding that she has enhanced her chemistry with their setter, Clo Mondoñedo.
"I think being with the team for more than three months na siguro, mas nag-improve na 'yung connections ko with the setter. And sabi nga ni coach, tatrabahuhin pa rin namin 'yung connection namin with everyone. I think mas matututunan namin 'yun throughout this conference naman and sa practices namin," said Miner.

The young middle blocker said they want to embrace a winning tradition that the management wants to instill in the team.
"Patuloy kami nag-iimprove, hindi kami stagnant throughout the conferences. And sana magpatuloy 'yun, ma-build 'yung chemistry namin and 'yung winning tradition na sinasabi nga ng staff sa team," she said.
Coach Jerry Yee added that they want to learn further with their American import, Anna DeBeer.
"Marami pa kaming hinahabol. This is the Reinforced Conference, so we’re trying to learn as much as we can kay Anna [DeBeer], kung papaano ang pakiramdam ng mataas ang efficiency, na mag-execute lang, na wala masyadong extras or drama. So, marami pa kaming hinahabol and gusto matutunan. So hopefully, mag-progress lang nang mag-progress," Yee said.
Zus Coffee earned their two wins against Chery Tiggo EV Crossovers (25-15, 20-25, 25-20, 25-23) and Galeries (25-22, 25-16, 25-16).
Against the Highrisers, Miner took the Player of the Game nod after firing 10 points anchored on seven attacks, two aces, and one block on Tuesday.
