MANILA — Zus Coffee mirrored Akari's 2-0 win-loss slate in Pool B of the 2025 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference.
This, as the Thunderbelles made quick work of Galeries, 25-22, 25-16, 25-16, on Tuesday at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

While they are on a roll, coach Jerry Yee admitted that the team is still a "work in progress," although they have come relatively far since their winless stints as Strong Group Athletics.
"Still trying to get better, so maraming pala namang lapses. Work in progress. ‘Yung mga challenging teams nga, so hinihintay natin," he said.
"Siyempre pagka nandyan na sila, doon lalabas lahat ng hinahanap. So hopefully, hindi masyadong marami or hopefully ma-overcome natin sa first meetings. So, ayan, trabaho lang kami."
On the other hand, reinforcement Jelena Cvijovic was the only Highriser in double-digit scoring with 11 points.
Zus Coffee aims for three straight victories against Creamline, while Galeries will also battle the defending champs next.
