MANILA -- The musical version of "Bar Boys," a local movie about life in law school, is set to be staged this May.
Barefoot Theatre Collaborative shared the good news on Friday as it posted a teaser for its upcoming production.
"Our dreams won't wait too long. Join us this May 2024 as we bring a new musical to the stage!" read the post on its social media pages, not giving further details.
Released in 2017, "Bar Boys" stars Carlo Aquino, Rocco Nacino, Enzo Pineda, and Kean Cipriano.
The coming-of-age drama was made available on YouTube in March 2020 to help people deal with pandemic-induced lockdowns.
