Game publisher Level Infinite will return to Gamescom 2026 in Cologne, Germany, with a lineup of playable titles, new game reveals and interactive activities for attendees.
The company said visitors to its booth in Hall 6.1 will be able to try several upcoming titles from its partner studios, including the first public hands-on demo of "CONTROL Resonant," the sequel to Remedy Entertainment's award-winning action game "Control."
Scheduled for release on September 24, "CONTROL Resonant" follows Dylan Faden as he explores a supernatural version of Manhattan while battling reality-warping enemies using psychic abilities and a shape-shifting weapon. The game will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Fans of "Dune: Awakening" will also get their first opportunity to play the open-world survival game on consoles during the event. In addition to gameplay sessions, the booth will feature a themed photo experience inspired by the desert planet Arrakis.
Meanwhile, "Hunt: Showdown 1896" will debut a new in-game event at Gamescom, allowing attendees to test upcoming content, meet the development team, collect exclusive in-game items and merchandise, and participate in community activities, including appearances by cosplayers and content creator Raptobot.
Level Infinite also teased an unannounced title that will be playable during the convention, with more details expected closer to the event.
Beyond game demos, visitors can participate in booth activities such as the Wheel of Infinity prize giveaway and themed photo opportunities based on the featured games.
Gamescom 2026 will be held in Cologne, Germany, from August 26 to 30 and is one of the world's largest annual video game exhibitions.
