Following their last chaotic encounter at a bar in Binondo, where both of them were on a mission to apprehend gold-smuggling syndicate leader Victor "Tigre" Zafra (JM de Guzman), Gabo (Coco Martin) unexpectedly sees Sam (Julia Montes) once again.
This time, Gabo sees Sam at the same bar where he has taken his friends for a well-deserved night out. Sam, on the other hand, is there to unwind with her fellow NCIA agents after being handed in a suspension order by her superiors for the series of protocol violations she committed while pursuing Victor's business partner, Mr. Chan (Mike Castillo).
With the bar already packed with customers and no tables available inside—not to mention that they did not have a reservation—a staff member ushers Gabo and his friends to the al fresco area. As they chat about Gabo's latest mission, for which Anino rewarded him with P200,000 for his success and honesty, Daboy (Mammoth Estroso) interrupts the conversation and asks if they can finally order because he is already starving.
Finding no waitstaff nearby, Gabo volunteers to head inside and place their orders himself. The moment he enters the bar, he immediately spots Sam, his face lit up with a smile. But it quickly fades when he sees Seb (JC de Vera) gently holding and brushing her tightly clasped hands.
Gabo continues to walk toward the counter with his gaze remaining fixed on Sam, as he seems to notice the deep sadness and concern in her expression.
