In his attempt to intimidate Django (Jhong Hilario) and his gang, who were causing trouble in the wake of a mutual acquaintance, Gabo (Coco Martin) instructed his friends to get their weapons ready as he began a tense countdown. Fortunately, they immediately caught on to his plan, and the bluff worked perfectly.
Completely fooled, Django immediately stopped his own men from drawing their weapons and quickly changed his tone, insisting that Gabo wasn't their target. He claimed they were only there to collect money and had no intention of seeking revenge, despite having been defeated by Gabo in a previous encounter.
Trying to manipulate Gabo, Django reminded him of their childhood bond and the favors they had once done for each other. He then backed down, apologized, and agreed to leave Mang Fredo's wake in peace, allowing the bereaved family to bury their loved one without further disruption.
Gabo, however, issued a stern warning, telling Django that if his gang ever caused trouble there again, he would be the next one lying in a casket. Rattled by the threat, Django immediately ordered his men to retreat. Once the gang was out of sight, Gabo and his friends dropped the act, revealing that they had been completely unarmed the entire time and had successfully bluffed their way out of the confrontation.
The widow and son of the deceased were deeply grateful to Gabo—not only for driving Django and his gang away, but also for providing financial assistance to help cover the burial expenses of their late family patriarch.
