The spectacular chemistry, heart-fluttering adventures, and rom-com energy never falter when it comes to the entertaining performances of JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith, especially in their iWant vertical drama “Will You Fake Marry Me?” While they continued creating buzz for the show, they enthusiastically took part in the emoji challenge, eventually identifying several iWant originals.
JM and Fyang smoothly stepped into the first round, where they were shown emojis consisting of a crowned woman and a smiling face topped with a halo. Their guesses included “Princess and I” and “Reigning Angel” up to the point that Fyang nailed it with “Miss Behave,” the youth-oriented series featuring Alexa Ilacad, Xyriel Manabat, Reign Parani, Rans Rifol and Andi Abaya.
Straight after Fyang’s adorable minion-sounding laughter, they proceeded to accurately decode the clues that cleverly described the recently completed “Blood vs Duty,” that was top-billed by Richard Gutierrez and Gerald Anderson. Other than that, they also recognized “The Chambermaid’s Daughter,” ABS-CBN’s first microdrama that debuted GeLex, Alexa and BGYO Gelo Rivera’s on-screen pairing.
A few series either landed on the tip of their tongues or have yet to be watched, particularly the comedy-fantasy “Young Blood,” the revenge-filled “Twist of Fate,” the sports-themed “Love at First Spike,” and the medical-slash-supernatural “Nurse of the Dead.”
Following another correct response which revealed the high-rated primetime series titled “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” Fyang then led the game by ultimately naming their very own iWant shows, “Ghosting” and “Will You Fake Marry Me?”
“Kung ano [pa] ‘yung atin ‘yun [pa] ‘yung hindi ko nahulaan,” JM joked, though he absolutely scored three points throughout the challenge.
