Haven't we all imagined what our dream proposal would look like (even we're nowhere near getting engaged)? Maybe it's under a sky full of fireworks, on a beach at sunset, or in the comfort of your own home with your favorite person. After all, if it's a moment you're hoping to experience only once, it has to be pretty unforgettable, right?
JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith, of course, are no exception. In keeping with the theme of their iWant original microdrama "Will You Fake Marry Me?," they built their own fantasy proposals in this fun challenge.
In this game, Fyang lets JM guess the different elements of her dream proposal through a series of multiple-choice questions, starting off with the location, for which the options are a private yacht (which, NGL, brought back memories of their kilig Star Magical promposal), the living room, a Ferris wheel, or a taping location.
JM thought she'd prefer a grand gesture on set, but Fyang revealed she'd actually choose a proposal at home with family and friends. And looks like JM took a mental note of that!
What's a proposal without good food? The pair would like to keep the menu simple with their comfort food picks—dried fish for her and ginisang monggo for him.
As for the outfit, JM would want to pop the question in an alien costume, which Fyang didn't agree with at first, but after giving it some thought, she found the idea unique. JM's inner scriptwriter definitely came out as he imagined recruiting a few people to pretend to be police officers and stage his arrest to keep Fyang distracted before he gets down on one knee. Sounds like something straight out of a movie, right?
JMFyang were on the same page about their fur babies, Max and Kong, making the perfect ring bearers. Plus, their reactions when they saw Max and Kong's names among the options were too cute to handle!

As for his proposal speech, JM would most likely borrow a line from his "Will You Fake Marry Me?" character, Ping. Why don't we catch up on this iWant original series and help him decide which dialogue deserves to make the final cut?
He also has the announcement all figured out. Since he pictured the proposal happening at a taping location, he thought it would be poetic to end it there too. "Sa ending ng isang project natin, kuwari nag-propose 'yung character ko sa character mo." Fyang chimed in, "Hindi nila alam totoo na pala." JM continued, "Sa ending, live announcement!" See? Who says only girls are capable of dreaming up cinematic scenes?
