Still frustrated over being denied any monetary reward by Anino after failing to accomplish the first mission they'd given him—to bring notorious gold-smuggling syndicate leader Victor "Tigre" Zafra (JM de Guzman) to them dead or alive—Gabo (Coco Martin) found himself having to deal with the anger and simmering resentment of Elton (Lito Camo) and Betchay (Irma Adlawan) the following day.
Elton's exasperation stemmed from Gabo secretly taking the motorcycle the day before to carry out his mission. As Rudy's (Joey Marquez) trusted helper, Elton couldn't hide his frustration since the owner of the motorcycle was expected to arrive that morning to redeem it. Besides, the money they were supposed to receive from the transaction had already been allocated for Rudy’s medical expenses.
True enough, customer Brando indeed arrived and got really livid upon discovering that his motorcycle was nowhere to be found. To calm the furious customer down, Elton came up with an excuse, saying that he had brought the motorcycle to another mechanic who could further inspect and repair the problems they were unable to handle. He also pointed out that the motorcycle had already been in poor condition when it was brought to their shop six months earlier.
However, Brando accused Elton of merely making excuses and giving him the runaround. Just then, Gabo stepped in and assured Brando that the motorcycle would be returned the following day. Although Brando agreed to wait, he warned them that he would report the matter to the authorities if they failed to keep their promise.
After Brando left, Elton angrily confronted Gabo and demanded that he make sure the motorcycle was returned. He warned Gabo that failing to do so would put him in serious trouble.
On his way out of Ginintuang Lupa, Brando crossed paths with Betchay (Irma Adlawan), who promised to speak with them about the motorcycle, as well as asked for financial aid to help cover Rudy’s hospitalization expenses. After Brando handed her a few bills, Betchay immediately headed home and confronted Elton, who told her that it was Gabo whom she should berate since he was the one responsible for the situation.
As she confirmed what really happened and that Gabo was the one at fault, Betchay instantly lashed out at him and hurled harsh words over what he had done. She was only stopped by her sister-in-law Mameng (Ces Quesada), who defended her nephew by reiterating his promise to return it. Gabo then stood up from the dining table and assured his stepmother that he would find a way to return the motorcycle, telling her not to worry anymore.
