With the word “adventure” serving as the central theme for the June 27 episode of the game show “Kapamilya, Deal or No Deal,” celebrity player Inah Evans embarked on a tense journey as she prepared to open two more briefcases in the fourth round.
After eliminating the ₱100,000, ₱125,000, ₱150,000, ₱250,000, and ₱500,000 prizes in the previous rounds, Inah sought help from her co-Lucky Stars in frustration. Comedian Negi then chimed in, revealing that the content creator's special someone was present on set.
Pambansang Host Luis Manzano then called her dear friend to the stage, introducing him as Shawn. Expressing his support, Shawn told Luis that Inah had been a sweet and endearing companion, prompting the celebrity player to crawl onto the stage as she struggled to contain her kilig.
Luis then suggested that Shawn choose one of the briefcases for the round. “Bibigyan ko siya ng chance kasi binigyan niya rin ako ng chance,” Inah said in approval.
The two decided to open briefcase number 5. Everyone was stunned to discover that it contained the elusive ₱1 million jackpot prize. Inah dropped to her knees in disbelief, prompting the live audience to erupt into chants of “LQ!” (Lovers’ Quarrel).
Equally surprised, Shawn tried to reassure Inah, saying, “Sana okay pa tayo mamaya.”
