Since she’s still new in the local entertainment scene, not much is known yet about content creator and model Asia Yoona, who’s among the lucky stars of the ongoing season of “Kapamilya Deal or No Deal.”
She may be known for her bubbly personality and vibrant presence, but what we didn’t know was that she has been going through tough times, which she opened up about during her stint as the celebrity player during the June 14 episode.
As Banker expressed through host Luis Manzano his admiration and pride to her for being able to send herself to school through her earnings from her gigs, Asia wasn’t able to help herself from getting emotional, more so when the host quizzed her about the real reason why.
“Kami na lang po kasi ng dad ko ang magkasama. So, very important din po sa akin na magkaroon kami ng good life. And no’ng pandemic po kasi, syempre, maraming mamamayan na nawalan din po ng work. So, ever since po, naghe-help po ako sa dad ko, and gusto ko rin po talagang makapagtapos ng college,” she related, trying to fight back his tears.
Seeing through her selflessness, sincerity, and hardwork, Luis earnestly told her, “Sa pagsisimula ng gameshow natin hanggang sa pagtatapos ng ‘Kapamilya Deal or No Deal,’ mula sa akin, may all your dreams come true.”
