After putting their lyric-guessing skills to the test, the Songbayanang Food Bazaar Crew finally advanced to the “Everybody GuesSing” Sunday jackpot round with 85 seconds remaining on their clock.
All 50 members were challenged to play as a single team, working toward the collective goal of identifying 10 song titles after listening only to snippets of their corresponding instrumentals. The Songbayanang Food Bazaar Crew earned ₱20,000 for every song title they identified correctly. Meanwhile, a perfect score of 10 correct song titles would have won them the ₱1 million jackpot prize.
Although the songbayanan began the first round with a mental block and failed to provide any song titles, they recovered gracefully and managed to identify five songs before the round ended. Their impressive streak continued into the next guessing round, where they successfully pinpointed two more song titles.
They identified their eighth song title on their fourth attempt. Unfortunately, their hopes of winning the ₱1 million jackpot prize came to an end after they used up all the time they had accumulated. The Unkabogable host Vice Ganda later revealed that the songs that stumped the songbayanan were Martin Nievera’s “No Way to Treat a Heart” and Sam Milby’s “Close to You.”
Nonetheless, the Songbayanang Food Bazaar Crew still went home as winners, especially after Vice Ganda added ₱20,000 to their ₱180,000 earnings, bringing their total winnings to ₱200,000. The Asia’s Unkabogable Superstar expressed gratitude for the songbayanan’s energy, saying it inspired her to return the positive vibes despite arriving on set tired from a previous work commitment.
