“Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition” Kapamilya Big Winner Brent Manalo brought good vibes and excitement to the set of “Everybody, Sing!” during its June 13 episode. After singing lines from the chorus of his track “Pareho Tayong Nahihiya,” Brent proceeded to select four players from the Songbayanang Food Bazaar Crew.
With Food Bazaar Crew members Noufa, Janeth, Latek, and Mon by his side, the Unkabogable host Vice Ganda couldn’t help but make playful jokes about Noufa and Mon’s lyric-guessing skills. The “The Secrets of Hotel 88” actor chose to go first in the guessing sequence, leaving the rest of his team to complete the remaining five missing lyrics in succession.
Each correct set of answers earned the Songbayanan an additional second on the timer, along with a prize of ₱20,000 for the “Singko Blanko” Saturday jackpot round. Meanwhile, a perfect score of five would have awarded the Songbayanang Food Bazaar Crew an extra 10 seconds on their jackpot timer and added ₱200,000 to their total winnings.
Despite struggling to come up with accurate lyric guesses for Brownman Revival’s cover of “Ikaw Lang Ang Aking Mahal” during their first two attempts, Brent and his group bounced back and correctly identified the missing lyrics on their third try. However, their momentum was short-lived, as they failed to answer the final two sets of missing lyrics correctly.
Nevertheless, the Songbayanang Food Bazaar Crew extended their jackpot timer to 21 seconds and headed into the Sunday jackpot round with an additional ₱20,000 in winnings.
