The Asia’s Unkabogable Superstar engaged in a meaningful conversation with Apple, one of the 50 Food Bazaar Crew workers representing the weekend’s Songbayanan. Vice initially joked about Apple’s name, referencing the fruit that Eve ate in the Bible. Apple played along with the punchline, emphasizing that temptations can be resisted.
With Apple’s impassioned remarks, Vice brought up a timely news report involving politicians accused of receiving money in suitcases. Reflecting on the issue, Apple said, “Lalo na po kung ang usapang pera, maraming nasisilaw d’yan. Pero kung pagbabatayan mo ang dignidad mo, hindi mo gagawin ‘yun.”
She went on to express her hope that wealthy individuals would share their blessings by extending help to those facing difficult circumstances. Emphasizing that her family remains her top priority, Apple also shared a valuable perspective on the fleeting nature of power and wealth.
“Kung marunong kang magtimpi at marunong kang makuntento, napakasaya ng buhay,” Apple said.
Addressing government officials in her passionate appeal, Apple urged politicians not to be blinded by the lure of money and instead devote their efforts to ensuring that those in need receive the assistance they deserve.
