As another “Songpu,” or set of 10 players, from the “songbayanan” of flood victims in Calumpit, Bulacan stepped on the stage of “Everybody, Sing!” to play the third round called “Sing Tunog,” host Vice Ganda couldn’t help but notice Osang due to her eye-catching sunglasses.
When asked why she put them on, Osang revealed that she wore shades with the intention of catching the attention of the “Unkabogable Star”—and it worked! The gregarious host, along with her co-hosts Iyah Mina and Petite also poked fun at Osang’s heavily tinted lips and cheeks.
During the interview, Osang’s fellow residents chimed in and teased Osang about Burundung—the humorous with whom Vice had an unforgettable and droll back-and-forth in the pilot episode on Saturday, May 2—claiming he was her loveteam partner. Curious, Vice asked Burundung what he knew about Osang, but instead of giving serious answers, he simply continued cracking jokes, much to everyone’s delight.
Although Osang repeatedly turned him down, Burundung persisted in trying to win her over. He delivered cheesy pick-up lines and even serenaded her with a mashup of “Pagsubok” by Orient Pearl and the classic folk song “Sitsiritsit,” but still failed despite his lighthearted plea for her to give him a chance.
Vice wrapped up the interview portion by asking Osang for advice to women in their 50s on maintaining a youthful glow. She shared, “Alagaan ang sarili, huwag pabayaan kahit may edad ka. Gawin mo po ’yong the best sa iyong katawan.”
