During the course of Marcus (Richard Gutierrez) and Jalil’s (Gerald Anderson) battle, Felix (Baron Geisler) deliberately throws a bomb in between them and flees the scene.
As the unconscious Jalil is rescued by his sister, Jamilah (Barbie Imperial), Datu Rahman (Jaime Fabregas) is left to deal with an enraged Marcus. Even after Datu Rahman’s pained question about the massacre of his people, Marcus still apprehends him for violating the law due to the alleged trafficking of illegal firearms.
After reuniting with the surviving Task Force Alpha personnel and failing to retrieve Harold’s (Elmo Magalona) corpse, a barrage of bullets continues to strike them until they finally reach the extraction point.
On their way back to the headquarters, the team, together with the captured Datu Rahman, takes a boat ride. Felix suddenly congratulates Marcus for leading their triumph. Taking this as an insensitive remark, Marcus punches and criticizes Felix for refusing to obey his orders, which started the crossfire and killed civilians.
In response, Felix furiously argues that the Muslim villagers were armed, and if they hadn’t reacted first, they would have died. Datu Rahman could only observe their feud confusingly.
