Stella (Kim Chiu) worries that Vincent (Paulo Avelino) might discover her relationship with Walter (Sam Milby) in the April 24 episode of “The Alibi.”
Vincent continues to gather information about Walter’s case, speaking with one of Walter’s neighbors. She describes him as quiet and never involved in any issues. However, she recalls that Walter had several visitors, including Claudia (Sofia Andres). One detail that adds suspicion is that another woman visited Walter a few weeks before his death, angry and was heard yelling at Walter, which fuels Vincent’s curiosity about her identity.
Later on, Vincent picks up Stella from work. Stella asks him about the progress of his investigation into Walter’s case, and Vincent tells her about the other woman who visited Walter aside from Claudia. He further suspects that this might be the same woman who left a lipstick stain on Walter’s finger the night he died.
Worry immediately washes over Stella’s face, and a flashback reveals that she was the one who went to Walter’s house at that time. She confronted Walter about what he had done to her that led to her imprisonment. Stella blames him for sending her to jail, and the two get into a heated argument.
Stella snaps back to the present as Vincent continues to connect the dots. “Kapag napatunayan ko na involved nga siya sa pagkamatay ni Walter, mananagot siya,” Vincent affirms as that person has caused him too much trouble. “Sisiguraduhin kong mananagot siya sa mga kasalanan niya sa likod ng rehas,” he declares, making Stella nervous.
