Stella (Kim Chiu) grows anxious as suspicions tie her to Walter’s (Sam Milby) case alongside Vincent (Paulo Avelino) in the April 23 episode of “The Alibi.”
After the sudden interrogation by the authorities, Mona (Alma Moreno) hurriedly calls Stella to inform her about what happened, particularly when she was asked about Stella and Vincent being together at the resort on the night Walter died. Mona adds that she was also questioned about the rip in Stella’s dress that time.
Stella then tells Vincent about this, and he insists that a single photo does not prove anything. Stella recalls her moment with Walter that night, confused as to how the authorities managed to obtain a copy of her photo with Vincent when it was saved only on her phone.
“Kung sino man ang may gawa nito, malamang malaki yung kinalaman niya sa nangyari kay Walter.” Stella tells Vincent, noticing how the person behind this is determined to pin her and Vincent down. Vincent agrees and suspects the same thing, telling Stella they need to be even more careful from now on.
Stella reflects, stating, “Yan ang mahirap sa lahat ng kalaban—’yung hindi mo kilala, traydor.” Vincent then asks who her customer was that night at the resort, but Stella refuses to tell him anything. Vincent wonders why Stella is hiding the customer’s identity, but she only insists that they should focus more on the bigger issue, which is how the police managed to get a copy of their photo.
