In the evening, just outside the Special Investigation Division headquarters, Marcus (Richard Gutierrez) frantically approaches Lara (Bela Padilla), urgently informing her of his newly formulated theories about the unexpected deaths that occurred to three of his Task Force Alpha colleagues.
He further explains that Oliver’s (Geoff Eigenmann) murderer is not just a syndicate, given that when Marcus went up against him, the man’s movements were highly skilled and trained. Marcus also makes the assumption that the organization in which the culprit is likely associated will continue to add casualties until evidence exposing the truth about Task Force Alpha’s failed mission remains present.
Datu Rahman (Jaime Fabregas) is then determined by Marcus as the next potential target of the killer, in addition to the possibility that Task Force Alpha was only deployed to Zamboanga in order to bring Datu Rahman closer to the true criminals.
With a slight pause, Lara doubts the likelihood of Marcus’ theories and shares news of Datu Rahman’s transfer the following day. Marcus persists in convincing Lara and cautions her that Datu Rahman could be killed in the process.
With confidence, Lara guarantees Marcus that there is only little chance of an attack occurring considering that there will be maximum security during and after Datu Rahman’s departure.
Marcus puts his trust in Lara but reminds her that they can’t underestimate the real enemy.
