Following Incognito, Richard Gutierrez stars in another action-packed primetime series, Blood vs Duty. And this time, it’s even personal as he shares the screen with someone special to him, Barbie Imperial.
In an exclusive interview with PUSH ABS-CBN, Richard Gutierrez got real about how he felt about working together for the first time.
“We're very thankful to Tita Cory (Vidanes), ABS-CBN, and JRB Group to be given this opportunity to work with Barbie. It's great. Kasi nga, alam mo, to be honest, nervous pa kami pareho,” he expressed.
The premier leading man further shared that they have only just started shooting scenes together.
“Yung mga eksena namin, parang recently pa lang kinukunan. So nakakapanibago working with her on the series. But at the same time, we're just very thankful and we want to really showcase our talents here sa Blood Vs. Duty,” he said.
Richard Gutierrez also teased what viewers can expect from their characters in the series.
“It's going to develop as the story goes along. It's a long-running series so maraming pwedeng puntahan yung mga characters. But that's something that we want the audience to really wait for and look forward to,” he shared.
Meanwhile, Richard also expressed his gratitude to the whole team behind their action-packed series.
“Yeah, first time ko rin mapanood yung show namin. The team did really good. I really just want to like bow down and be grateful for this blessing, for this moment, na lahat nung pinaghirapan namin, we prepared, we shot it, talagang how many weeks namin pinaghandaan, and finally seeing it on the screen. It was something really special. Something that I'm really proud of. I'm honored to be part of it,” the actor said.
