Most of us, at one point in our lives, have struggled to figure out what to wear to work, especially when your schedule runs five to six days a week. So just imagine how much more pressure it is for the "It's Showtime" hosts to dress up from Monday to Saturday with the entire nation watching their every look. They sure prepare for each OOTD carefully.

But even the trendiest and most carefully put-together outfit can't save them from their co-hosts' 'pang-ookray' or savage commentary. Here are ten OOTDs that got the wittiest,  funniest reactions from the "It's Showtime" family.

Over the years of working alongside his fashion-forward co-hosts, Jhong Hilario has learned to experiment with bolder style choices. Case in point: his striped suit with a daring deep V-neckline, topped off with a pair of futuristic sunglasses that the internet dubs as the 'censorship shades' as they mimic the thick black bar used to block out faces on screen. It's certainly not your usual accessory, so it earned a reaction from Vice Ganda, who jestingly pointed out that the sunglasses looked like the props from a segment of a rival noontime show. Really, how to unsee?

They say fashion is all about how you wear it, but on "It's Showtime," it's also very much about how your co-hosts choose to see it. One time, Anne Curtis wore a minimalist, very Y2K-ish white strapless top that screamed simple elegance, until Meme Vice noticed that the V-cut hem was creating a silhouette of a pair of men's briefs. Doesn't fashion play funny tricks on the eyes?

Another example of 'fashion optical illusion' was when Vice herself became the subject of 'okray,' with Vhong Navarro comparing her Filipiniana top to the traditional handwoven 'bayong' bag. Sorry, Meme, but the resemblance was hard to deny!

Sometimes, the punchlines write themselves when the hosts’ OOTDs end up resembling everyday work uniforms, like when Vice clocked that Vhong's khaki outfit made him look like a field reporter, or when Vhong's floral polo had Vice asking "Magkano cottage?" because he could have passed for resort staff.

In another episode, Jhong ‘cluelessly’ took Meme’s cue to greet 'Kuya' Kim Atienza, only to realize that his khaki button-up shirt and shorts, topped off with a bow tie, was already drawing laughter for giving off the vibes of a nature documentary host. "Ang mahal nito, inokray lang," Jhong reacted, laughing.

But what goes around comes around, as Vice's gray pinafore was compared to a Korean parlor staff uniform in another episode. Kim Chiu probably reported to work feeling free-spirited and confident in her bohemian look, only to get ‘roasted’ by her co-hosts for looking like a 'manghuhula' or fortune teller with her printed bandana.

But of all the hosts' outfit choices, turtleneck is probably the most targeted piece. Cianne Dominguez learned this firsthand when she wore a turtleneck crop top that covered her neck while leaving her midriff completely exposed, a choose-your-battle kind of ensemble. "Inalagaan mo 'yung lalmunan mo pero pinabayaan mo yung puson mo," Meme Vice jestingly commented.

Another turtleneck moment that the internet loved so much was when Anne wore a chunky cream turtleneck sweater that, in the eyes of her co-hosts and netizens, looked like a cervical collar or neck brace. "Karylle, asikasuhin mo 'yung kasama mo d'yan na naaksidente," Meme Vice directed at Karylle, followed up with, "Nabasa ko sa Twitter, si Anne Curtis naaksidente! Anne, ingat ingat naman!" And poor Anne didn't even realize she was already the subject of the punchline!

Truth is, fashion will always be subjective. And on "It's Showtime," one person's fashion statement is always another person's punchline.

Catch more of these OOTD moments on "It's Showtime," Mondays to Saturdays, 12 NN, on ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2, GMA 7, A2Z, Kapamilya Online Live (KOL) and iWant.
