Following their “Block Retrieval Task,” Kuya once again gathers the remaining housemates of “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0” for his two important announcements. The first one was about their failure to secure their weekly budget after losing their latest weekly task, while the second one was about the housemates who would compete in the second Big Jump Challenge.
Six housemates are given the chance to fight for a coveted spot in “Ultimate 8”—Marco Masa, Princess Aliyah, and Ashley Sarmiento for the Kapuso line, while Miguel Vergara, Joaquin Arce, and Krystal Mejes for the Kapamilya line.
Having collected the least number of blocks during the task, Heath Jornales and Carmelle Collado were asked to whom they would donate their blocks. Carmelle gave her seven blocks to her best friend Krystal, while Heath handed his 11 blocks to Ashley, which boosted their chances in the upcoming Big Jump Challenge.
The Kapuso housemates were the first to take on the challenge, with Marco, Princess, and Ashley having to balance the blocks they collected on a wooden, eye-shaped board with their personal resolution words written on it. They held the board using their hands throughout the task.
In Level 1, they balanced three blocks while holding the board with both hands. In Level 2, the number decreased to two blocks. Upon reaching Level 3, Big Brother intensified the challenge by having the housemates balance just one block using only one hand, with their arms fully outstretched to avoid violations. The block had to remain upright; otherwise, it had to be discarded and replaced.
After two hours and 20 minutes, Princess had run out blocks and was eliminated from the challenge, leaving Ashley and Marco in a head-to-head battle. Soon after, Marco repeatedly knocked down the blocks he attempted to balance until he had none left.
Ashley couldn’t help but get emotional upon realizing that it was only her who was the last person standing among them, making her the second Kapuso housemate to clinch a spot in the “Ultimate 8.”
