After telling Marites (Cherry Pie Picache) that he’s not keen on speaking with Tanggol (Coco Martin), Santino (Ron Martin) finally agreed to heed the request of his mom—much to her delight and gratitude.
She immediately relayed the great news to her firstborn, who was as happy as her to have the opportunity to talk to his beloved youngest brother and clear his name after Santino accused him of killing the love of his life, Erika (Gillian Vicencio), and their unborn child during the bloody battle between the Montenegros and the Guerreros.
Just when they thought that he was sincere about it, little did Marites and Tanggol know that Santino would be used as bait by Rigor (John Estrada) to ultimately take hold of Tanggol and his group, whom the authorities have been finding it hard to catch. As soon as Tanggol sent their meeting place, Rigor immediately assembled his troop that would accompany him on the mission and gave them his instructions.
As he sensed that Santino was having second thoughts, Rigor reignited his rage by reminding him of all the unfortunate events that happened to their family because of Tanggol. They then headed to the old train depot, with the police led by Rigor quickly proceeding to their assigned posts before Tanggol and his group arrived.
But prior to having their heart-to-heart talk, Ramon (Christopher de Leon) instructed Enteng (Jojit Lorenzo) and Bulldog (Mammoth Estroso) to frisk Santino. Of course, Santino highly objected and even tried to resist, but Bulldog was able to recover a gun from him, which, according to him, was only for self-defense.
Tanggol then requested Ramon and his friends to give him and Santino some time alone so they could talk in private, and they agreed.
