After successfully gunning down all of Miguelito’s (Jake Cuenca) henchmen who accompanied him to the National Election Commission headquarters to stop Commissioner Medina (Simon Ibarra) from exposing the truth behind the victory of the Guerrero family in the last election, Tanggol (Coco Martin) and his group quickly searched for the commissioner.
They were able to catch him at the parking area, as Commissioner Medina honked his car horn at them and raised his hands in surrender as soon as he spotted them running in front of him. He stepped out of his vehicle and approached them, thanking Tanggol for saving him from almost being killed by Miguelito during their encounter.
Gasping for breath, Commissioner Medina confirmed to Tanggol that he was indeed the one who had truly won the mayoral race in the last election and not Miguelito. He promised Tanggol that he would help in exposing the truth to the public and warned him to remain cautious, reminding him that the Guerreros would not easily relinquish the power they had held for decades and would surely not stop at anything to just get rid of him.
In return, Tanggol thanked the honest and courageous commissioner and urged him to leave immediately and go into hiding to ensure his safety.
Tanggol then turned to his father, Ramon (Christopher de Leon), who conveyed that all their sacrifices had finally paid off. Once he officially gets declared mayor, Tanggol vowed to do everything in his power to send the Guerreros to jail, to which Ramon agreed. The group then left the area before the authorities could catch up to them.
