“Roja” continues to paint the town red with intense fight scenes, shocking revelations, and betrayals unfolding left and right in every episode that takes us to the edge of our seats. From Liam (Donny Pangilinan) and Olsen's (Kyle Echarri) determination to end the siege to Uno and his wrath fueled by greed and fury toward Magnus (Raymond Bagatsing), it is definitely a roller-coaster ride that we wouldn't want to miss.
But it is not bad to take a break and breathe, right? With its full production and wide range of cast members, one of the behind-the-scenes moments netizens love to see is how the “Roja” family and the staff of La Playa Roja have fun on set while showcasing the hard work that pays off during taping. Take a look at how they prepare for their scenes, and how they bond like family when the cameras aren’t rolling, in these behind-the-scenes highlights of “Roja”.
A few months before the show premiered, Lorna Tolentino posted a first look at her role as Greta Roja on her official Facebook page with the caption: “Abangan si GRETA ROJA.” Fans were delighted, leaving comments about how excited they were to meet Greta.

Director Ram Tolentino (DOP) also shared a few snaps on his Instagram from the filming of the first cycle of “Roja.” His mini photo dump included shots with the Roja family, Donny (as Liam), Lorna (as Greta), and moments with the staff of La Playa Roja.

Direk Ram later shared more behind-the-scenes snaps of Donny, Lorna, Maymay, and Kyle Echarri (as Olsen) in between takes.
Maymay Entrata, who plays Luna Javier, Liam's sous chef in the series, posted a reel of her three-day action training prior to filming Roja. In the post, Maymay underwent rigorous stunt training and practiced shooting with firearms.
Weeks later, Maymay showed her inner action star as she shared a short behind-the-scenes clip of her going head-to-head with one of the goons, and with the hard work she put in, she hoped viewers would continue watching the show.
La Playa Roja would not be a prime resort without its hardworking staff: Happy, Love, Joy, and, without revealing her true identity yet, Smile.
Before the siege even occurred in the series, Inka Magnaye, Sophie Reyes, Rubi Rubi, and Rikki Mae Davao showed off their hidden dance moves as they bonded over TikTok trends in a shared reel.
Sophie Reyes, playing Joy, later posted a mini dump on her Instagram with the caption: “Before & during ma-hostage—abangan kung may ‘after’ pa.” In the photos, the four of them are seen smiling behind the scenes with the goons, screaming later on, and sharing off-take moments with the staff inside the storage area where they were eventually held captive.

In the midst of the chaos, Donny, along with Maymay and the staff, still managed to smile and take a few snaps despite the challenges of filming, as shared by Rubi Rubi on Instagram.

Before turning into an enemy, later revealed to be Emil's (Joel Torre) daughter, Rikki Mae Davao, playing Smile as a staff member, shared her own POV from their photoshoot to their taping days.

Before the revelation of which staff member was allied with the goons, they also shared a fun reel that seemed like a teaser, prompting audiences to guess who the mole was. Netizens eagerly left their guesses in the comments.
The truth about Leni was revealed in a tragic shootout between Liam and Emil, but behind the scenes, the cast shared laughter and fun moments---just like Rubi Rubi, playing Manager Happy, showed through her Instagram post

But what does the staff do during their real-life days off? In one post, Rubi Rubi, along with Floyd Tena (as Capt. Jacinto), Sophie, and Rikki Mae, were seen enjoying coffee and meryenda during one of their breaks.
