As Ponggay’s (Maris Racal) stepsister (Criza Taa) mentioned the Quiapo Police encounter with Tanggol (Coco Martin) and his friends at the hospital that already went viral online, her father, Mauro (Richard Quan), asked her if they were able to catch him.
She told him that they failed since his group had managed to get away. He then went on to imply the possibility that the Guerreros may just be playing dirty with Tanggol, which Lola Florie (Perla Bautista) refuted. She insisted that unlike him, who got discharged from service for being a crooked cop, Ponggay has integrity and will not do anything that can ruin her career.
As Linda (Aleck Bovick) walked out before another round of altercation could spark between her and Lola Florie, Mauro tried to stop her but failed. Thus, he just turned to Ponggay to remind her that she’s going to encounter a lot of corrupt cops in her line of work, so she better not act as a heroine always, or else she’ll get killed.
Besides, what’s more important now is for her to be practical and to earn more money since her principles can never bring food to the table. Lola Florie told her not to be bothered by what her father said, but Ponggay seemed to be perturbed by everything she just heard.
