As part of his usual routine, Mang Dipong arrives at the Hernandez mansion, which at that moment is empty since Patrick (Joshua Garcia), Mia (Anne Curtis), and Matmat (Carlo Aquino) have all gone to OK Hospital.
He gazes at the mansion as though lost in thought, softly humming a tune while opening his toolbox, where a butterfly-shaped ring is kept. His mind drifts to the past, recalling his last encounter with Ingrid (Empress Schuck). In the flashback, a long-haired woman in a blood-soaked white dress emerges from the river in the middle of the night. Dipong approaches the woman and calls her Ingrid. She slashes him with her sharp nails, leaving the scar on his face that never faded.
Meanwhile, at OK Hospital, Eden (Agot Isidro) is both shocked and angered upon learning that Olivia (Maricel Laxa) has requested Doc Anok (Bobot Mortiz) to put her in charge of Samuel (Michael De Mesa)’s care, so she confronts Olivia and accuses her of working behind her back, which she insinuates is driven by their rivalry as potential Nurse Manager of the facility.
