In their usual comic exchange, Vincent (Enchong Dee) praised his assistant Madeth (Xyriel Manabat) for successfully breaking the lock at Mia (Anne Curtis)’s mansion, which allowed them to get inside. Madeth jokingly pouted, saying that after all the endorsements and photoshoots she had arranged for Mia, it was only her lock-breaking skills that her boss considered “talent.”
The two grew curious upon seeing the mansion’s main door open, and just as they were staring at it, they suddenly heard a noise from inside as if something had shattered. Vincent rushed in and left Madeth outside, instructing her to stand guard and be ready to respond if he screams for help.
Inside, Vincent found Mia facing the mirror, which she had smashed using a sharp pair of scissors. Alarmed, he asked if she was all right, but Mia coldly replied that she only wanted to cut her mother out of her life. He soon learned that Mia’s sleep paralysis and nightmares had returned ever since she went back to the mansion, which pushed him to convince her to come with him back to Manila. But as he tried to take her away, Mia resisted and kicked him in the groin, causing Vincent to cry out in pain and prompting Madeth to rush inside and help him drag Mia out.
The tussle nearly sent Vincent tumbling down the stairs. Thankfully, Patrick (Joshua Garcia) arrived and caught him just in time. Vincent tried to explain why staying in the mansion would only harm Mia, but Patrick dismissed his concern, assuming that he's merely forcing her because he fears bankruptcy if she, his prized writer, walks away from his publishing company. With no patience left, Patrick dragged both Vincent and Madeth out of the house.
